What I think is so great about being a designer, is that we can in fact use this skill for a better, more inclusive world. I myself feel an urge to thus have a social and environmental impact.
In order to achieve such an impact, I tend to get inspiration from all stakeholders involved. My research always contains talking with the user and involving them in the process of designing. My best insights come to me by closely observing and listening very, very carefully.
I am specifically intrigued by social design and/or user experience design.
